Welcome Storycasters!
Brian here! I’m SUPER excited to see Storycaster so close to being ready to launch. I’m proud of what we’ve made and I think you will all love it. We have A LOT more to show, so be sure to follow us on all of our social media.
Below is our prototype version of the game that is very close to what we plan to ship. Reply to this email and let me know what you think. I’m confident that Storycaster will help you create compelling campaign settings, player characters, and WAY more!
I have also recorded a truncated version of the game to give you a feel for the Storycaster process. We will be posting more in-depth walkthroughs and how-to-plays on our social media soon!
We will be running some digital playtests of Storycaster with the community. If you’re one of our early reservation VIPs, you’ll be among the first to play! Make sure you have joined the Discord server, and keep your notifications on.
By the way, it’s still not too late to become a VIP and receive a BONUS mini expansion “Creatures Most Foul”! We’ll bundle it with your game when you back us on Kickstarter.
We have been thinking about shipping Storycaster as a full Session Zero experience. In addition to character creation and world-building, we could help you cover safety rules, introductions, prologue adventures, and more but we need to hear from YOU!
Seeing this much interest in the game I’ve developed for the last 20 years is a dream come true. I can barely believe that we’ve already gotten over 1500 SIGNUPS! Thank you all SO much.
